I can’t believe it was so long ago
21 years have passed
I still have you in my heart
I still have you in my thoughts

I was just a youngster, 20, myself
I was so unprepared for you passing
I thought we’d have more time
But we only had 17 years
You where my father for only 17 years

I can see your face whilst I write
I can feel your presence
You’re smiling
Dad, I miss you
