Shivers run down to my feet
Lightning strikes it starts to rain
All too fast it clogs the drain
Water rushes down the block
Life is ticking like a clock
All is being swept away
Taken is my white boquet
Standing in my sodden gown
I slowly start to gaze down
The water now is at my knees
My blood filled veins begin to freeze
I see his ring shine in the light
I scream for help through the dark night
The water hits against my chin
Why won't he help, I cannot win
I try my best to stay afloat
I start to cough it's in my throat
I gasp and cry for help once more
My lungs sting like an open sore
Again he stares and shakes his head
It's over now, I'm left for dead
It's much too strong, I'm far below
He takes his ring and starts to throw
It hits the ground beneath my toes
The water fills my lifeless nose
He grasps the knife once in my heart
He stares and grins as I depart
