Tomorrow I’ll rise and get ready for work
But before I leave I’ll write
A few lines of this and a line that
That I couldn’t complete tonight.

Then, when I actually finish something
There’ll be accolades and cheers.
I just pray to God, it doesn’t take

I’m just too tired to write tonight
So I believe I’ll call it quits.
