The man I loved whom i believe was you..
The man Who loved me for being jus me..
The man i loved Who'd inspire me...
His laugh warm voice the sound of his kiss..
Thats the man I truely miss

Whatever happened to what we had?
Where did it go wrong..
How did it get bad?
Once we were one..
We had so much..
Now the emptiness we cant overcome..

Whatever happened to my dreams..
To hold and kiss you
A distant memory they now seem
How I longed to hear u whisper to me...
That you'd stay by my side for eternity..
Dreams are not to always be fullfilled..
Dreams can be shattered but I wonder still..
Why us what did we do wrong...

Whatever happened to the laughter we shared..
The silly little things just we would do...
It didnt matter that noone else cared
Just you and I against the world..
A love so strong I believe so true..
A love that was jus about me and you...

Whatever will happen in years to come?
Will I look back and regret what ive done?
Will I remember the tears and the pain
Will I ever love the same again
Nothing and noone will take that place...
Of the man who has my heart
Of the man whos sweet kiss I never felt on my face..

What ever happened to the man that I once knew...
The man I loved whom i believe was you..
The man Who loved me for being jus me..
The man i loved Who'd inspire me...
