when I see you standing there?
I see so much,
in a person who stands so short.

I see a little girl,
all smiles and laughter.
Who can sing and dance,
most anyone under the table.

I see a young woman,
struggling to find herself.
In a time when everything seems dark,
and when its so easy to lose yourself.

I see a smiling face,
always brightning someones day.
Who's magic smile,
can make clouds disappear.

I see a friend,
who cares so much for those around her.
And I know will always care,
because her heart is all that she is.

I see a lost child,
who has seen the worst of life.
And looks at everyone around,
hoping to find someone to trust.

I see a lady,
who should have been a princess.
And should have been givin,
far more then she ever got.

I see a star,
warming all those around her.
Ever ready to brighten your day,
just because its what you do.

I see you,
my friend who has been there for me.
And I am always overjoyed,
to have someone so special in my life.
