There comes that decision thought through with all ones might
that the truth needs be told because that is what is right.

I do not understand now once all is said and done.
That you are so brazen to point a finger at me,
is it important how they came to know
or is it most important that there was damage to a young soul.

For many a year you have made things difficult
and always just about you, well pull your head out there is more important things to do.
Do you think for one second that I found joy in telling something this hard?
The very first word uttered killed and broke my heart.

So stop making it about you, and if you feel you need to blame someone..
Do not cast a stone or shell my way
for things that have been done.
"Her" best interest is all I am concerned about
and by damn there are more than just you who care about this young lady no doubt.

I gave word through invitation that they could relay my phone number
and you were more than welcome to call and blow me all you will.
If I had the decision to make and do it allover again
the results would be just the same as they were three days ago.

I do not hide a fact it was I who told those who you hid it from.
They had the right to know, stop being a self serving witch.
So bring it all just the best you can because I am not scared.
If you must shoot the messenger then I stand clean and bare.

It is not I that did the thing that hurt this young lady so
hide behind your false looking glass and pretend it never happened.
Yet the news and the papers all placed in black and white.
It is not my fault that you feel guilt and shame..
For you to point a finger and try to place the blame.....
Is ridiculous.......

So if you want to shoot you know how to reach me
and if you cannot pick up the phone then shut up and let it be.
My heart is already torn apart and there is nothing you can do
