You have no shame

She saw you with her
She felt awkward but courageous
As she went to your table and sat beside you
She looked at you with disgust and asked,
“What is this, what is going on here, and what is the problem?”

You were caught in the act as nothing happened
You turned to her and smiled and gave her a wink
You thought she would leave instead asked you to follow

You told her you can explain but why bother
You tried to lie but knew she would see right through
You ignored her tone and went back to your table

She knew what had to be done
She was scared and finally brave
As she grabbed the phone in front of you
She gave a sigh and remarked,
“Will you tell her now or tell her later?”

You were surprised to hear my voice
You sneered at her but felt ashamed
You looked at your friends and at the phone
You told her that you would speak to me at home

She hung up the phone
She wanted to slap you silly
She left the table and began to cry
As she turned by the door she yelled out,
“You’re ignorant to the world; you have no shame.”
