I never knew how beautiful
The sunset really is
I just sat there and watched
So I can write and tell you this

I was sitting in the office
And the fisherman had all gone away
The sound of waves in the background
I think what an un spoilt day

The Pinks and the oranges
All the yellows and the blue
This is my favorite time of the day
You should watch it too

Pity it only lasts and hour or so
I wish it lasted all day
Cause then I could sit in Kingscote
And watch it on the other side of the bay

I didn’t realize how Kangaroo Island
Is such a beautiful place
You just have to sit and wait
Till it suddenly shines in your face
